Research to fight cancer is one of the segments within science where there have been greater advances, which is why there are always innovations.

Focalyx® presents a new alternative whose goal is to treat prostate cancer without eradicating it, while maintaining physical and sexual functions intact, so that patients can continue to lead normal lives.

Focalyx® is composed of 3 phases (Focalyx® Dx Focalyx® Bx and Focalyx® Tx) that allow the exact detection and eradication of prostate tumors.

It is a very non-invasive treatment, the treatment is done in the doctor's office and is done in a transperineal manner

GreaterAccuracy.jpg

Greater accuracy and precision. In each of the treatment phases we use our Focalyx® Fusion technology that allows the superposition of the images obtained from the magnetic resonance and the ultrasound. This is obtained from the highly accurate 3D image of the patient's prostate, in which it is possible to locate suspicious lesions with great precision

It keeps the prostate, i.e. the procedure only acts on areas where there are cancerous lesions

Fast recovery. It is a procedure that in its treatment phase can last approximately 90 minutes. The patient only requires local anesthesia and can go home.

FollowUp.jpg

Follow-up. Focalyx® offers its patients a Focalyx App specially designed to maintain each patient's medical information, schedule appointments, and maintain direct contact with the treating physician, so the patient takes control of his case.

The most important thing. It keeps your integrity and your masculinity intact. You keep your prostate and your sexual and urinary functions unaffected and you can enjoy your life to the fullest.

Our goal

The preservation of physical integrity is our top priority, this way, we can guarantee that the quality of life of our patients will be equal and in some cases better, than before the treatment.

“We offer a new treatment for prostate cancer”

Focalyx® represents a paradigm shift for the world in how prostate cancer has been treated so far. And it does so because it has a very clear position:

Frequent Questions and Answers

How long does the procedure take? Typically the procedure is done within sixty (60) to ninety (90) minutes.

Where is the procedure performed? The procedure takes place most likely at your doctor's office or in a designated Focalyx. The protocol avoids hospital stays and the risk of infection.

What are the probabilities of preserving sexual function? It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Will my urinary function improve? Approximately seventy (70%) of SmartBlate patients experience a substantial improvement in urinary function.

How is the recovery period? There is no overnight stay. Depending on the extension of cancerous tissue treated, the patient uses a catheter from four (4) to seven (7) days. There is minimal post-operative pain.

Will cancer recur? Almost ninety (90%) of Focalyx® treated patients are cancer-free one year after the procedure. Your doctor carefully monitors any changes in PSA levels; in case of recurrence the process could be repeated, or your doctor decides if more aggressive treatment is needed, as the procedure does not burn any bridges.
